As Vice President of the European Parliament and CSU Deputy Chairman, I associate the founding of NICE e.V. with a sense of joy and with some interesting expectations.

As Europe is steadily growing together, the large number of cultural particularities represents a treasure, which it is our duty to protect and promote. Cultural differences are like the seasoning in a savoury dish, and this is becoming more important as the economy is taking over global markets and people are able to make worldwide contacts via internet.

Mutual understanding, learning from one another, accepting each other – for these goals I wish NICE all the best and lots of success!
