particularly successful duo: soprano Yvonne Ji accompanied
on the grand piano by her mother Yi Chen with coloratura arias
by Bach, Mozart, Bellini, and Verdi

outstanding performance of the Vienna Soloist-Ensemble Seminar
led to numerous encores

Audience
A full house with many distinguished visitors. Even after
intermission, the arrival of the Embassy Singers filled the
audience with many enthusiastic and expert listeners
